The unique power of our dreams shows us how we are through a universal symbolic language. And when we take the time to interpret the hidden meanings, we can unlock our deepest secrets— the secrets we keep from ourselves.
The symbolic nature of the images can awaken deeper truths within the self because our dreams connect us to our subconscious with one sole purpose: to encourage self-discovery in connection to our thoughts, attitudes, and emotions to awaken alignments within the higher (authentic) self.
When I was fourteen, a lucid dream showed me the soul does not die. From then on, I was sure that the profound presence of “me” would always exist. Dreams have always been part of my waking reality, bringing me closer to myself. Beyond form, there is only connection, and our dreams tell stories with characters, events, and settings that reflect various aspects of our inner lives to move us beyond the illusions of everyday reality.
Our dreams are always about aspects of the self, though on the surface, dreams may appear to be about others. So, it is crucial to understand that dream interpretation is not one-size-fits-all. Within sleep, we can learn how we create our lives with meanings that vary significantly based on individual experiences and cultural backgrounds. What comes to mind when you think of a particular dream symbol? Here are a few examples of interpretive meaning.
- Water
Water symbolizes conscious life experiences, emotions, and the subconscious. Pay attention to the quality and type of the water and its environment. Calm ocean water may suggest tranquility and peace, while turbulent ocean water may indicate chaos and emotional distress. The state of the water in your dream illuminates your emotional well-being. If you swim effortlessly, it may be time to celebrate your emotional resilience. Conversely, struggling against waves might require you to confront your feelings and process them to let go of what no longer serves you.
2. House
A house represents your mind state. Its rooms offer insights into the undercurrent state of your subconscious mind. The bathroom is a place for cleansing and release. The kitchen is where knowledge (food) is prepared (learning). The bedroom is a symbol of relaxation and assimilation. The basement stores your unconscious thoughts, often denied or pushed down, while an attic represents your superconscious thoughts (the essence of the ether) beyond material reality. Lastly, if it is a childhood home, there is a sense of reclaiming positive or negative aspects of the self.
3. Flying
A flying dream might symbolize freedom or the desire to escape from responsibilities. Reflect on the relationships in your life and how you feel within the varying interactions. Notice where you feel discomfort and take steps to upgrade your energetic patterns.
4. Chased
Being chased could signify avoidance of certain emotions or situations— internal conflict. You can’t run away from yourself; the only way is through. Face your fears, and they will not hold power over you because fear is energy, and energy transforms with awareness.
5. Falling
Falling dreams may provoke feelings of fear, vulnerability, and feelings of losing control in your waking life. Reflect on areas where you feel insecure, anxious, or unstable. Are there stressors in your life that make you feel overwhelmed? Dreams serve as reminders to seek support when needed.
6. Teeth
Teeth falling out is a common dream experience. It signifies feelings of powerlessness, vulnerability, or concerns about self-image. You may be facing difficulties expressing yourself or feeling unprepared for a situation. Have there been any recent changes in your life? Missing teeth may represent difficulty in making choices because you fear the outcome. When we practice self-acceptance, confidence is a natural result. Be more decisive and know that outer beauty shines from within.
7. Taking an Exam
Dreams about exams may emerge during potential shifts in career or relationship challenges. Consider this a call to prepare for upcoming events or embrace growth opportunities. Assess your readiness and skills, and incorporate self-care routines into your daily routine.

Types of Dreams and Their Explanation
- Reoccurring dreams or nightmares stem from patterns of thinking that need to be resolved and upgraded in your waking reality.
- Precognitive dreams include information about the future. They can be three-dimensional or abstract. Upon waking, they will stand out. They may connect to déjà vu moments in your daily reality. For example, I dreamt of a Coke can on a white table. It stood out in my dream as odd. The next day, I met a new friend, a Divination Reader, for lunch. We sat at a white table, and the first thing she did was order a Coke in the can.
- Telepathic dreams connect with others in various ways and may be foretelling. For example, I dreamt of a client and the anxiety she was feeling. The next day, she emailed for a consultation. When my grandmother died, I was in Thailand and woke up abruptly to check my email, and there was a recent message that she had died.
- Lucid dreams are when the dreamer is both the observer and actor in a dream. They know they are dreaming and may be able to control what happens. It indicates metacognitive awareness of individual thought processes and a willingness to upgrade energetic patterns.
Remember, small matters. The keys are often in the little things. Also, remember that all dreams are about the self; however, we are energy first, beyond form, and energy is about connection. The stronger the trust and belief within the invisible stirrings, the more we can hone our intuition and invite psychic connections to heal ourselves.
10:10—Trust in the synchronicities. Pay attention to small matters in connection with others. We are powerful manifesters.
